Medical Collections Specialist

INFINITY is now seeking temporary Medical Collections Specialists to join our team.

General Summary of Duties:

Works to resolve unpaid claims and manages client accounts receivable by contacting insurance companies via phone or online portals and performing the following duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review unpaid claims by utilizing online portals and making calls on client aging report.
  • Generates list of problems, and ensures they are collected.
  • Claim denial management.
  • Follow through on claims. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and commissions. 
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, internet based and industry specific database software.
  • Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience required. 
  • Previous industry experience and collections experience is preferred.
