General Summary of Duties:
The Help Desk Level IV Technician will be tasked with ensuring that network, Data, Voice, virtual environments, and application environment run at peak performance by detecting and acting on all exceptions and anomalies. This role monitors the entire Network environment and performs end-user support as needed. Collects performance statistics on the reliability and efficiency of networks. Incident tickets are generated for exceptions and managed for the lifetime of the incident. Troubleshoots and corrects all incidents when possible and escalates to higher level as needed. Detects outages and remedies. Operates with a high degree of independence and with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year accredited college plus 2 years of professional experience ; or five years of related experience and MCSE and/or CCNP certifications.
Typical Physical/Mental Demands:
Requires mobility. Requires prolonged sitting. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors. Ability to push and/or pull office equipment weighing five to fifty pounds. Occasional travel may be required.
Work is performed in an office environment. Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
